Bauer's Story

Because his mom’s Maternal-Fetal specialist predicted a difficult delivery, Baby Bauer had a planned stay in our NICU before he was ever born. Following his birth, he stayed there, under the care of eight specialists. He went home just nine days later, a time much shorter time than anticipated.

“It was so joyous. All of us said, we cannot believe he is in the back seat of the car with us!”

Our Level III NICU is the only one of its kind in the region. Here, premature or critically ill newborns with respiratory distress, infections, birth defects or special developmental needs are provided comprehensive, intensive and progressive care.
