Sharon's Story

For 30 years, Sharon worked as a Registered Nurse. She spent some of that time caring for stroke patients — so when she had a stroke, she knew she needed to get help fast. Her neurology team took immediate action with a comprehensive treatment plan. And they gave Sharon the encouragement she needed to return to a rewarding, active life.

"I hadn’t been in a hospital since I was a nurse, except to have children. So I told the nurses up there, I gave them all A plusses. Their care was exceptional."

Today, Sharon still spends much of her time caring for her community in many meaningful ways, including visiting with other stroke survivors and their families.
