Kacy's Story

Ever since Kacy was a little girl, she’s wanted to be a mom. So when she and her husband decided to have children, they hoped for a healthy, happy baby. It never occurred to them that something could happen to Kacy. Shortly after their son Bode was born, Kacy wouldn’t stop bleeding and was immediately rushed to the OR. SCL Health’s expert care and delivery team made sure Kacy, who lost over half her blood delivering Bode, made it safely back to her family and could fulfill her dream of becoming a mom.
