SCL Health Medical Group Expands in East Aurora
The updated clinic will serve a rapidly growing community.

AURORA, CO – With the Denver metro area rapidly building eastward, communities in East Aurora have fewer primary care providers than needed to serve a growing population. Now, SCL Health Medical Group – Aurora is relocating and expanding to meet that need. The clinic opened its doors to serve patients in its new space this Monday, January 30.
The Aurora clinic has long been a staple of the neighborhood in its location near E-470 and Smoky Hill Road. The new location, a little less than four miles north at Quincy and Picadilly, offers a state-of-the-art, updated clinic design and – just as importantly – room to grow. In the new location, the clinic also gets a new name: SCL Health Medical Group – Copperleaf.
“Identifying and addressing gaps in care is core to our mission and our promise to deliver comprehensive healthcare to those who need it most,” said Boris Kalikstein, Vice President of Operations for SCL Health Medical Group. “The new space gives us a much-needed opportunity to bring on more providers and create more primary care options in this community.”
Like all SCL Health Medical Group Clinics, Copperleaf makes healthcare access seamless and convenient offering online scheduling, eCheck-in, virtual care options and 24-hour electronic access to health information.
The clinic’s current patients can continue to see their same provider using their same insurance plan. And with room to bring on more providers, the clinic can offer east Aurora residents who don’t have a primary care provider – or who are traveling out of the neighborhood to see one – a welcome opportunity to access care where they are.
“Our mission is to deliver quality, convenience, value and compassion to our patients,” said Kalikstein. “We’re proud to play a part in improving the health of our communities and ensuring easy access to high-quality care close to home.”
