Holy Rosary Healthcare’s Liane Vadheim Recognized as Lifestyle Coach of the Year

Liane Vadheim. center, registered dietitian and coach in Holy Rosary Healthcare’s Healthy Lifestyles program has been recognized as the “Lifestyle Coach of the Year” by the Montana Diabetes Program and the Montana Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (ADCES). This award recognizes a Lifestyle Coach who has made an impact through their commitment, innovation, and delivery of the National Diabetes Prevention Program across Montana. 

Holy Rosary has offered the Healthy Lifestyles program for fifteen years and has seen remarkable success in participants. The 12-month program offers real support from locally trained experts with the goal to help individuals increase physical activity, lose weight and decrease risk factors for diabetes and cardiovascular disease. It is offered in-person and virtually. Graduates report improved health indicators, increased energy, and better quality of life. 

“Liane has led Holy Rosary’s program for more than 14 years.  She is a pro at coaching local members to meet their goals. The success of those participating in her programs can be seen throughout the community and surrounding areas,” shared her nominator.  

A recent participant also shared about their work with Vadheim, “I can’t thank you enough! I am excited to finally see opportunity in lifestyle change and feel the energy. Liane assures all participants feel included and are empowered to navigate the ever-changing needs they will face in their journey to better health.” 

The award was presented as part of the annual diabetes professional conference sponsored by the Montana Diabetes Program and the Montana Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (ADCES). The Montana Diabetes Program created the annual awards program to recognize healthcare professionals of all levels across the state who are working in the area of diabetes care and education and diabetes prevention.  These awards recognize healthcare professionals and organizations who are supporting positive change and making an impact in their communities and on patients who are at risk for or living with diabetes.
