Holy Rosary Healthcare Foundation is a Miles City-based charity participating n MTGives 2016. MTGives is a 24-hour online statewide charitable giving event to inspire people from around the world to give generously to nonprofit organizations that are making local communities stronger and more vibrant.
Healthy people and communities is the focus of the Holy Rosary Healthcare Foundation. The Foundation partners with donors to lead over 75 high-impact,community-based, health-enhancing projects in Miles City and a 10-county region of eastern Montana.
“MTGives celebrates the best charity work taking place in local communities, and we’re delighted to be part of it and invite the public to support this great work,” said HRH Foundation Executive Director Jackie Muri, CFRE, CGPA, MSL. “Just to give you an idea, a $25 gift helps bring leading health services & technology to eastern Montana, provides hospice care to a family, offers wellness & disease-prevention education & resources to the at-risk groups, provides financial grants to health-enhancing community-based organizations, and provides a child in need with dental care. Every gift makes a difference and is appreciated.”
The public may visit www.mtgives.org from midnight to midnight on Tuesday, May 3. Every gift of $10 or more qualifies organizations to receive challenge funds, which have been secured and made available by the Montana Community Foundation.
MTGives is coordinated by the Montana Community Foundation. In 2015, over $640,000 was raised in a single day for charities in Montana. The 2016 goal is to raise $1 million on May 3.
