Holy Rosary Healthcare is inviting community members to join the organization’s leadership as they review the 2015 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) on Tuesday, July 21st at 6:30 pm or on Wednesday, July 22nd at 7:00 am. Each open house will be held in the Holy Rosary Healthcare Conference Rooms, and refreshments will be provided.
“The goal of a CHNA is to improve community health and wellness by connecting people, resources and research,” says Paul Lewis, CEO at Holy Rosary Healthcare. “This allows us to identify priority community health needs as well as existing gaps in service that we can work to address.”
Lewis also says the assessment, conducted by nationally-recognized consulting firm Professional Research Consultants, Inc., also encourages healthcare organizations to strengthen relations with other community partners to improve the overall delivery of care. Community members who attend these events will hear about the findings of the study and ask questions about its impact.
“Our leadership has been charged with addressing the top needs the assessment revealed,” Lewis says.
Those top community needs and priorities are:
- Access to Healthcare Services
- Mental Health
- Tobacco Use
“We look forward to meeting with people here in Miles City and from surrounding communities to share this information,” Lewis says. “This assessment, after all, is how our organization can better serve them.”
