Mount Saint Vincent works with a diverse group of audiences to bring trauma informed care to children. We support families, teachers, and behavioral health care specialists to help them better understand how trauma impacts children and their developing brains.

Using the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) as it’s foundation, Mount Saint Vincent Home offers a strength-based approach to caring for children recovering from the effects of trauma. By participating in each session, you will experience real-time, hands-on training that will help to reshape the way we approach children and families impacted by trauma.

Our goal is to provide you with the information and tools necessary to strengthen and expand the strategies needed to promote success for all children in schools, homes, and community environments. To support the implementation of trauma-informed care practices within your organization, MSV trainers can also provide individual case consultation, on-site observation, individualized coaching, and full NMT assessments.
