When you’re ready to leave the hospital, the last thing you want to do is drive to a pharmacy and wait in line. We offer inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services as well as specialty medications through our St. Vincent Healthcare Frontier Cancer Center.
Our inpatient pharmacy employs the latest technologies to ensure safe and accurate medications are delivered to patients throughout their hospital stay. Our pharmacists and certified staff members work directly with physicians and nurses to optimize drug therapy for every patient. We have six decentralized pharmacy areas that serve patients throughout the hospital, creating a more personalized level of care. These areas include:
- Acute pain management
- Critical care
- Emergency medicine
- Pediatric oncology
- Perioperative care
We are licensed with the state and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and inspected by the Joint Commission.
Our outpatient pharmacy, located on the second floor near the Radiology waiting room, fills and dispenses prescriptions and over-the-counter medications for patients at St. Vincent Healthcare and our physician network clinics. Our outpatient pharmacy is open from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for medication questions and prescription pickup. We are also available 24 hours a day for emergency needs.
Specialty pharmacy services
If you have a prescription to treat a condition such as cancer or psoriasis that requires special administration, handling or monitoring, our specially trained pharmacists will work with you to manage every aspect of your care.
