Stroke care
When you arrive with stroke symptoms, the first few minutes are critical. Through rapid diagnosis and thorough rehabilitation, our stroke team helps hundreds of people recover from stroke each year.
St. Vincent Healthcare was the first hospital in a five-state region to be recognized as a Primary Stroke Center. We are also the first hospital in the state of Montana to offer interventional stroke services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This advanced treatment option can help eliminate the need for complex stroke patients to leave the region to receive the highest level of stroke care. Primary Stroke Centers help decrease disability or death from stroke.

Botox migraine treatment
Botox for a migraine? That may sound odd, but Botox is the first and only FDA-approved preventive treatment for chronic migraine. If you suffer from severe headaches or migraines, our neurologists may offer relief with this treatment.

Neurosurgery
Your delicate, complex nervous system affects how you think, speak and move. Our doctors use proven technologies and techniques to treat neurological conditions. Our team of surgeons, advanced practice professionals, nurses, pharmacists and physical therapists specialize in neurosurgery, pain management and rehabilitation.
Deep brain stimulation
We were the first health organization in the region to offer deep brain stimulation (DBS) to treat Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.
Spine care
Our neurosurgeons perform more spine surgeries than any other hospital in Montana. We also were the first facility in the region to perform 2-level cervical artificial disk replacement surgery.
Imaging for precision surgery
We use the O-arm® imaging system to capture high-quality, 3-D images before, during and after surgery. Imaging gives your surgeon a better view for more efficient, precise movements.
What does that mean for you? Smaller incisions and a quicker recovery.
