PGY-1 Projects
The major project rotation provides the resident an opportunity to complete a research project from beginning to end. Residents will be responsible for every aspect of their projects from idea generation to manuscript completion. Completion of the project will require significant efforts in: literature review: study design, data collection, statistical evaluation, and manuscript development. Additionally, being responsible for and leading the project will test their leadership and management skills.
The Mountain States Conference provides a platform for residents and fellows to present their research each spring. This conference also offers residents and preceptors a forum to network with colleagues. Conference attendees will have opportunities to receive teaching and training advice from a nationally recognized speaker.
