St. Vincent Healthcare

Nursing Clinical Outcomes

At St. Vincent Healthcare our nurses are devoted to offering the best quality care to the patient. The organization looks at data continually to ensure its outcomes are top tier compared to benchmarks provided across the nation.
Focused efforts are put forth to continually improve and eliminate Catheter Acquired Urinary Tract Infections (CAUTI), Central-line Acquired Bloodstream Infections (CLABSI), Hospital Acquired Pressure Injuries (HAPI), patient falls, and Clostridium Difficile infections (c-Diff) to name a few.
Additionally, at St Vincent Healthcare we put the patient and their satisfaction at the heart of what we do.  Some of the specific categories of data we review based on patient satisfaction surveys include: communication with nurses, responsiveness, overall rate hospital, communication with physicians, and environment.
Nursing's contribution to quality care is evidenced in the recognition awarded to St. Vincent Healthcare annually for outstanding care. Please click here to view our Recognition of Nurses page.
