In a crisis event, life can be overwhelming and unpredictable. Medical emergencies, an economic downturn, and even a worldwide pandemic can affect the livelihood of our associates and their families. The St. Vincent Healthcare Foundation works with our associates to help them through these tough times to ensure their most basic needs are met despite their current situation.
The Associate Assistance Fund helps to alleviate some of the financial stress that our associates may find themselves in due to unforeseen circumstances. Funds are used to help our associates make a mortgage payment, cover rent and utility expenses, or help with a car payment. In the past 5 years, the St. Vincent Healthcare Foundation has helped more than three hundred associates get through a crisis with just over $270,000 in assistance.
