Carmen has been with the Foundation since 2005 and has served as the Director since August of 2012 having previously served as the Associate Director. Carmen is a fifth-generation Western Slope native, growing up in rural southwestern Colorado. A Colorado Mesa University Alum she has a BA in Public Relations and has focused her career in not-for-profit management, also obtaining Certified Fund Raising Executive designation by CFRE International. She is an active member of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropists, the Junior Service League and Rotary. When not focused on philanthropy, she enjoys big-game hunting, fishing, and horseback riding with her husband Jeff and their two children Connor and MaKara.

Miffie joined the Foundation team in November of 2017. Miffie comes from a strong not-for-profit leadership and development background. Prior to joining the Foundation, she worked in development and fundraising for Habitat for Humanity, the Museum of Western Colorado, Mesa County Libraries and United Way of Mesa County. Her community involvement has included serving on many non-profit boards; notably Mesa Land Trust, the Aspinall Foundation, Colorado National Monument Association, the Tamarisk Coalition, Mesa County Historical Society and the Legends of the Grand Valley Sculpture Project. Miffie has lived in the Grand Valley since 1967 and has raised her own family here – son, Desmond, and daughter, Kate. Outside of her work in philanthropy, she enjoys concerts and festivals and anything outdoors – skiing, hiking, camping and traveling.
Deanna started her tenure with the Foundation in April of 2006, as the Administrative Assistant. In December of 2006, she accepted the position of Development Coordinator and has since worked to increase the Foundation’s annual giving program focusing on direct mail, employee giving and fundraising events. Prior to joining St. Mary’s, Deanna spent a decade in restaurant management. A Colorado native, Deanna is a Colorado Mesa University (CMU) alumni and has lived in the Grand Valley since 1987. Her passions outside of work include fitness, reading and spending time with her husband Tony, and their daughter, Kianna.
Kitty has been an integral part of the Foundation team since January 2006, coordinating all aspects of the Foundation's finances. A self-described “Army Brat,” Kitty spent her childhood living in a variety of locations, finally settling in Colorado in 1976. Kitty’s past career experience includes working in the finance departments of high tech companies such as Hewlett Packard and Seagate Technologies and then a year at the corporate office of Noodles & Co. In 2014, she earned her bachelor's in Business Administration from Regis University. Kitty and her husband Dean enjoy dancing, skiing, hiking, road trips, family and friends and their energetic dogs. She also spends as much time as possible with her grandson, Cashius.
Richelle has been with St. Mary’s Medical Center since October 2001, joining the Foundation team in May of 2011. Previous to working in the Foundation, she was the assistant to the Director of Quality and Resource Management for 7 years and worked in the Patient Services/Staffing office prior to that. Originally from New Mexico and California, Richelle has lived in Colorado since 1980, moving to Grand Junction in 2001. She is the mother of 3 children, 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. When not keeping the Foundation office in order, she enjoys family, friends, shopping and hiking. Richelle and her husband, John, enjoy riding their motorcycles.
