Dr. Julie Barone

Julie L. Barone, DO, FACS, received her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University. After completing a general surgery residency at Loyola University and a fellowship in breast surgery at Columbia St. Luke’s Roosevelt/Beth Israel Medical Center, Dr. Barone practiced in San Diego where she was the director of Comprehensive Breast Care of San Diego. She now serves as the medical director of breast system services for SCL Health and supports the breast care centers at Saint Joseph Hospital, Good Samaritan Medical Center and Lutheran Medical Center.

Diagnosis and Treatment

Dr. Barone treats both malignant and benign breast disease including breast pain, nipple discharge, dense breast tissue, abnormal biopsies, patients with a family history of breast cancer and locally advanced disease.
