Our Wound Care Team
Kelly Mattila, PT, DPT, WCC
Kelly received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2008 and has
a variety of experience in acute care, sub-acute rehab, outpatient therapy, and wound
care. She completed her Wound Care Certification in 2014 and has 10 years of
experience in wound care including sharp debridement, negative pressure wound
therapy, modality use for wound healing, and treatment of chronic wounds. Kelly
continues to advance her knowledge in wound care with attending annual conferences
and continuing education for staying up to date on the latest products and trends in
wound care. In her free time, Kelly enjoys gardening, cooking, woodworking, and
outdoor recreation with her family!
Nancy Sanderlin, PT
Nancy is a Physical Therapist with 23 years experience in wound care who has worked
in both the hospital and outpatient settings.
She received her physical therapy degree from Texas State University in 1995.
Nancy treats a wide variety of patients at St. Joseph's Hospital, including those with
wound care needs. She enjoys working with all ages and is especially passionate about
restoring a patient's mobility and assisting with wound healing.
Nancy is married and has one son. She spends most of her free time cheering on her
son at his multiple sporting events.

Susan received her doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Evansville in
2013. She has since continued her training in advanced wound care as one of the
therapists serving the Outpatient Wound Clinic. Susan also works as an inpatient
therapist at St. Joseph Hospital with a primary focus in emergency medicine. She is
certified in Dry Needling and continues to pursue training in neurological and geriatric
physical therapy.
