Megan Mahncke, MA

MeganMahnckeMegan Mahncke has spent the last 13 years working with and for non-profits in the areas of marketing and communication, fundraising, and volunteer management. She combined her master's degree in Conflict Resolution with her passion for connecting people and ideas that led her to a career in communications and development. Megan is currently the Chief Development Officer for SCL Health and the President & CEO of the Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation. She has also served in leadership roles at the University of Denver and History Colorado. She is a Colorado native, married to Patrick Mahncke, and they have two little boys, Coleman and Charlie.

Lisa Alecci

lisaLisa Alecci has spent most of her career working in the medical field. Whether in a sales and marketing role in a medical device corporation or in fundraising for hospitals, she has positively impacted patients’ lives in the ever-changing world of healthcare. Lisa is currently the Foundation’s Executive Director. She has also served in leadership roles in Boston at ZOLL Medical Corporation, Brooks School, Lowell General Hospital and Hewlett-Packard. Lisa is a Colorado native, recently relocated back to Denver and is married to Steve Hartel. They have three daughters, identical twins Natalie and Caroline and their older sister Lauren..

Nick Lopez, MPS

nickNick Lopez is the Director of Major Gifts for the Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation. He has over 13 years of experience in higher-education and non-profit development, including major gifts, planned giving, annual giving, board development, and capital campaigns. Prior to joining the Foundation team, Nick worked at the University of Denver (where he served as chief development officer for the Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science), the University of Chicago, and the National Hispanic Institute. Nick earned his BA in Anthropology at the University of Chicago and his MS in Public Service Management at DePaul University. He is a native of Pueblo, Colorado, and lives with his wife and son in Englewood.

Elizabeth McIlree

Elizabeth McIlree is the Director of Accounting and Finance for the Foundation. Beth is responsible for fulfilling all the financial and regulatory reporting requirements for the Foundation and has thirty years of financial accounting experience, with twenty-five of those years spent serving in various capacities at Saint Joseph Hospital. A Denver native, Beth has a Bachelor of Science Degree in accounting from Metropolitan State College.

Cristina Gonzales, MBA

CristinaCristina Gonzales is excited to join the Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation as the new Development Manager! Born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado, Cristina moved to Denver to attend the University of Denver as a Boettcher Scholar. At DU, she earned her B.A. in Art History and M.B.A with concentrations in Non-Profit Management and Museum Studies.

Cristina brings with her a diverse fundraising background having worked in development for both private and government non-profit organizations including History Colorado, The Latino Chamber of Commerce of Pueblo and Museo de las America. In addition, she specializes in event planning, relationship development, and donor stewardship.

She loves anything and everything regarding arts and culture and enjoys spending time exploring Denver with friends and family, traveling for music and art, and occasionally hosting elaborately themed dinner parties!

Chelie Panzera

ChelliePanzeraChellie Panzera is the Executive Assistant for the SJH Foundation and Megan Mahncke.

Chellie has served in a variety of administration support positions in Colorado, California and Utah including finance, law and healthcare. She is married to John and they have been in Colorado for the past ten years.

Sister Renee Washut

SisterReneeWashutSister Renee Washut is the Humanitarian Fund Administrator at the Foundation. The fund provides no interest loans to our associates at a time of crisis. Sister celebrated her 50th Jubilee as a Sister of Charity of Leavenworth in 2014. Prior to coming to Saint Joseph Sister was an administrator of low income senior housing for Archdiocesan Housing for twelve years having opened Higgins Plaza in 1990 and from 2000- 2002 served at Holy Family Plaza. Sister was a teacher and administrator at Catholic High Schools in Montana, Kansas, and Missouri for 23 years. A secondary volunteer ministry here at Saint Joseph is the Monday afternoon Cookie Project where she bakes cookies for the associates as a morale booster! Sister holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Saint Mary and a master's degree from Kansas State University.
