Leslie McKay joined Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation as Executive Director in January, 2020. As an executive in fundraising, nonprofit management, community relations, corporate giving, marketing and communications, Leslie is most of all driven by community impact.
With over thirty years of professional experience in Colorado, Leslie has formed long-lasting collaborative partnerships with corporate, media, civic, foundation and non-profit community organizations.
As a leadership team member, she’s motivated board members, development committees, and corporate advisory councils to lend their time and resources to support the mission of impressive organizations in the health care, education, and cultural arenas. Leslie excels at bringing shared values together to form strategic partnerships that elevate both mission and brand.
Leslie lives in Denver with her son Aidan. She enjoys getting outside to swim and ride bikes and cheering her son on at lacrosse games. She is a parishioner at Good Shepherd Church in Denver.

Julie joined Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation in 2020 as Director of Major Gifts. As a third-generation Coloradan, Julie has deep roots in the Denver area and great love for the region and the people in the community. Her professional experiences cross from corporate to nonprofit, from customer service to child and family service, and from education to health care.
She is an accomplished development professional with demonstrated experience in designing, leading, and executing fundraising and communication efforts for program development, capital improvements, endowment growth and annual funds.
Julie served as director of advancement at Regis Jesuit High School for nearly a decade before moving into healthcare as director of development and communications for Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation. After stops at Jewish Family Service and Mullen High School, Julie joined Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation.
Julie and her husband, Don, have two grown children and enjoy being outdoors and spending time with friends and family.

Cristina Gonzales is the Development Manager for the Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation. Born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado, Cristina moved to Denver to attend the University of Denver as a Boettcher Scholar where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Master of Business Administration with concentrations in Non-Profit Management and Museum Studies. She brings with her a diverse fundraising background, having worked in development for both private and government non-profit organizations including History Colorado, The Latino Chamber of Commerce of Pueblo, Inc. and Museo de las Americas. Her experience and expertise help her manage development operations for the Foundation, including annual giving, special events, donor stewardship and relationship development.
Cristina lives and enjoys life in downtown Denver and is active in the arts community. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for DU Art at the University of Denver, as well as CultureHaus at the Denver Art Museum.
Sister Renee Washut is the Humanitarian Fund Administrator at the Foundation. The fund provides no interest loans to our associates at a time of crisis. Sister celebrated her 50th Jubilee as a Sister of Charity of Leavenworth in 2014. Prior to coming to Saint Joseph Sister was an administrator of low income senior housing for Archdiocesan Housing for twelve years having opened Higgins Plaza in 1990 and from 2000- 2002 served at Holy Family Plaza. Sister was a teacher and administrator at Catholic High Schools in Montana, Kansas, and Missouri for 23 years. A secondary volunteer ministry here at Saint Joseph is the Monday afternoon Cookie Project where she bakes cookies for the associates as a morale booster! Sister holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Saint Mary and a master's degree from Kansas State University.
