COVID-19 Vaccination in Colorado

Updated 4/2/21

In Colorado, we are continuing to vaccinate individuals eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine consistent with current state vaccine eligibility criteria.

SCL Health has expanded vaccine eligibility aligned with state guidelines to Colorado’s Phase 2, which includes all Coloradoans ages 16 and older. At SCL Health we are partnering with the state to prioritize vaccinating individuals 70+ and are reaching out to individuals in this age group to schedule appointments. More information and details on vaccination tiers and who is eligible for vaccination in each phase can be found on the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s website.

We are working hard to vaccinate as many members of our communities as possible as quickly as possible. The number of people who can be vaccinated will depend on the amount of vaccine available.

We are pleased to have received an enthusiastic response from individuals eligible for vaccination, and we are working to accommodate requests through appointments as quickly as we can. An appointment is required to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and walk-ins cannot be accommodated.

Denver Metro Area Process

The quickest way to receive your COVID-19 vaccine is through SCL Health’s MyChart.

If you have an SCL Health MyChart account, you can log in to MyChart to self-schedule your vaccine. If you do not find an available appointment right away, please continue to check back frequently. You may also receive updates through the MyChart app and by email about vaccine availability.

If you do not have an SCL Health MyChart account, you can quickly create an account through our website. You do not have to be an SCL Health patient to create a MyChart account.

Individuals 18 and Under

Coloradans ages 16 and 17 will be eligible for the Pfizer vaccine, and those 18 and older will also be eligible for the Moderna vaccine. At this time, SCL Health is requiring parental consent for vaccination of individuals under 18 years of age and you will receive instructions for the consent process once you have registered a minor for a vaccination appointment.

Scheduling a Vaccine for Individuals Under 18

If you are unable to set up an SCL Health MyChart account, please use our Vaccine Notification Sign Up Form. NOTE: if you filled out this form between March 19, 2021 and March 24, 2021, please fill out the form again to confirm your submission. We apologize for any inconvenience.

You may enter your information in the form to be notified when an appointment is available for you. Appointments will only be available for individuals who are eligible for vaccination based on state guidelines, and outreach will be randomized and equitable. While we are working through this list as quickly as possible, due to significant demand, this option can take more time to get your vaccine scheduled. Please only fill out the form once, as that is all that is needed to get you on our notification list. We appreciate your patience as we work to schedule individuals as quickly as possible.
