Surgical Services at Lutheran Medical Center

When you choose us for surgery, you’ll be in the capable hands of an expert surgical team with a track record of success.

Surgical specialties

In addition to general surgery, which treats a broad range of conditions, our surgical services include:

Skilled specialists close to home

At Lutheran Medical Center, we offer services for a range of conditions in more than a dozen specialties. We use the latest technology and techniques, and many of our physicians are trained in robotic-assisted surgery. Located in Wheat Ridge, we ensure you don’t have to go far to get advanced care.

A partner in your care

Our team will walk you through every step from pre-surgical preparation through recovery. You’ll meet with nurses, a pharmacist, your anesthesiologist and other specialists to give you confidence and peace of mind. Our board-certified surgeons have advanced training, and our nurses have specialized certifications in surgery.

As part of your post-op surgical care, you’ll receive support for any pain management concerns. Our team is rounded out by case managers and others who help you navigate everything from paperwork and billing to heading home.

Care from start to finish

Whether you’re having outpatient (same-day surgery), or spending a few days at the hospital, our care for you doesn’t end when you go home. You’ll be given complete instructions for your care at home, your medications and what to do if you have questions or concerns. Remember that any surgical procedure, no matter how simple, is not without risk. We monitor you closely before, during and after your procedure, and should your stay be extended, we’ll provide you with continued support and a full array of services.
