Parking for your sleep study
- You may park in the main parking lot located off of Lutheran Pkwy in front of the east side of the hospital.
- Please do not leave personal belongings or doors unlocked
Sleep & EEG Center wayfinding
- Located on the 2nd floor inside the main hospital at Lutheran Medical Center. Please come in the Main entrance (entrance #2). PREFERRED ENTRANCE
- Take the lobby’s back elevators up to the 2nd floor. From the elevator’s entryway, Turn right and go down the long carpeted “blue/gray hall” to the very end at the “Sleep & Neurodiagnostics” sign. Turn left into the Sleep & EEG Center.
- Main entrance (#2) locks nightly at 8 p.m.
Cancellation policy
We reserve space and staff for your study needs to help ensure optimal individualized care with our most advanced technology and technologist available. If you are unable to make it to your appointment, please give us a minimum of 24-hour notice of cancellation.
Registration, Insurance, & Billing (General)
Pre-register for your study. Complete this prior to study appointment.

- Bring photo identification and insurance cards to your appointments
Checklist of items to bring to your sleep study
- Pajamas or any comfortable sleepwear - shorts and a loose t-shirt work fine
- Pillows (hospital grade/wipeable) are provided but you may feel more comfortable bringing your own
- Your own prescription or over-the-counter medications if you anticipate you may need them, for example:
- Nasal spray for sinus congestion, allergies, etc.
- Aspirin, Ibuprofen, or Tylenol for headaches or muscle pain
- Prescribed inhalers if you have asthma - We can NOT dispense any prescription or over-the-counter medicines.
- If you take a sleep aid or are prescribed sleep medication bring it with you. Please refrain from taking any sleep aids or sleeping pills until after you have arrived at the Sleep Center and spoken to your technician.
- If you have diabetes, if you monitor your insulin, please bring your own glucose meter and insulin/medicines.
- If you are currently being treated with CPAP bring your current mask. You do NOT need to bring CPAP machine or tubing.
- Bring your toiletries and clothes for the following day: toothbrush, comb/brush, shampoo/conditioner, etc.
- A book, smartphone, iPad if you wish. Each suite does have cable TV.
