Patients and Visitors

Whether you’re a patient or a visitor, you deserve a positive, compassionate and healing experience. From the moment you arrive to the time you leave, you’ll find the support, resources and information you need.

Care and compassion

The care we provide at the end of a patient's life journey is rooted in our core philosophies:

Honor, Compassion and Respect

  • Your worth, dignity, individuality and wisdom
  • Your right to choose a meaningful quality of life
  • Freedom for you and your loved ones to make informed choices and decisions about your care

"You matter because you are you. You matter to the very last moment of your life, and we will do all that we can not only to help you to die peacefully, but to live until you die." - Dame Cicely Saunders, OM, St. Christopher's Hospice, London, England, 1967

Excellent Care

Since 1985, we have earned a reputation for excellence. We are one of the few hospices in Colorado to be continually accredited by The Joint Commission, the gold standard by which healthcare quality is measured in the United States.

We offer a full spectrum of services, including home hospice, inpatient hospice, and palliative care in the home.

Personal attention for you and your family

Our doctors, who are board certified in hospice and palliative care, are responsible for your plan of care while our highly trained nurses make sure that your pain and symptoms are managed so you are comfortable. Each of our certified nursing aides is here to provide you with personalized care. Social workers, as your advocates, offer emotional support and can explain your choices about advanced directives and community resource options. Pharmacists, as part of your care team, review your medications. Our chaplains are here to support your personal beliefs and help you and your family with spiritual considerations. We have specially trained volunteers who offer companionship and practical assistance and grief counselors who offer support groups and individual counseling. Respect for your culture, beliefs and values is an essential component of the care you receive with us.
