Since 2014, Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton, Colorado, has been formally designed by Planetree, Inc. as a Planetree Designated Patient-Centered Hospital. This distinguishes the hospital as among those hospitals worldwide doing the most advanced work in patient-centered care.
Top Performer on Key Quality Measures
Both Good Samaritan Medical Center in Lafayette, Colorado, and Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton, Colorado, were recognized as a 2014 Top Performer on Key Quality Measures by The Joint Commission.
“A” for patient safety
Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado, earned an “A” grade for patient safety in April, 2016, and Good Samaritan Medical Center earned an “A” in 2015. The designation was part of the new hospital safety scores by The Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog. Saint Joseph was one of 798 hospitals to receive an A, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States.
