Celebration of Health and Hope Breakfast
Saint Vincent and Duchesne Clinics Host Health & Hope Breakfast, Raises $73,000
More than 150 community supporters and friends of Saint Vincent and Duchesne Clinics recently attended the annual Celebration of Health & Hope Breakfast at KCI Expo, Kansas City, Mo., raising more than $73,000. Guests heard personal stories from staff and volunteers and watched an inspirational video featuring patients, staff and community partners.
“The annual fundraising breakfast attracted individuals many of whom had little or no interaction with the clinics and because of our efforts are now more informed and inspired to support us financially,” says George Noonan, interim executive director, Saint Vincent and Duchesne Clinics. “We couldn’t have done it without our generous sponsors Security Bank, Providence Medical Center and Saint John Hospital. And we are always grateful to our multi-year Leadership Society donors who believe so strongly in our mission.”
He added, “We added four Leadership Society Donors from this year’s breakfast. We truly appreciate their special commitment to our patients today and into the future. Because of this ongoing commitment, a strong foundation has been laid for our patient care for the next five years.”
Special thanks to Karalin McCain, emcee; Rev. Rick Behrens, invocation; Noriko Okahara, DO, and Mary Lew McCarty, testimonials; Ruth Noel, Clinic friend; Margaret Steele, Clinic Board chair; George Noonan, interim executive director; and the Development Committee.
