Dr. Rompel grew up near the San Francisco Bay area. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of California-Davis, followed by her medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. She then completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Saint Joseph Hospital.

Dr. Rompel is incredibly passionate about medicine and simply can’t imagine doing anything else. “I like to take the time with patients and their families to truly address and take care of their concerns, needs, and questions.”

Dr. Rompel’s areas of clinical interests include infertility, family planning, obstetrics, adolescent gynecology, hormone replacement therapy, and minimally invasive surgery. She has also traveled to India, South America, and several other countries to perform gynecological surgeries.

When she is not at work, Dr. Rompel enjoys activities such as cooking, camping, hiking 14ers, snowshoeing, running with her dog, traveling, and playing soccer.
