Wyoming native Melissa desires to understand and help women in all facets of their life.
Several years experience caring for women in the labor & delivery unit sparked her desire to learn and care for women over their entire life span. In 2014 she became a nurse in Maternal Fetal Medicine, learning about antenatal (prenatal) care and the unique challenges some families face in pregnancy. In 2016 Melissa completed her Master’s degree in Women’s Health.
Melissa's approach to patient care is to care for the whole person. She bring a multicultural, patient-centered approach.
"The health of women is an all-encompassing state of being. The importance of mental, physical and spiritual health are equally as relevant throughout the lifespan of a woman. Close consideration of each of those areas by provider and patient will allow for comprehensive care of the patient."
To recharge, Melissa likes to hike, camp and fish. Church, family and close friends make the difference in her life.
