Dr. Marks earned a bachelor's degree in molecular neuroscience at the University of Florida before earning her medical degree and doctorate of immunology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center. She is board certified in internal medicine.

A researcher herself, Dr. Marks is interested in holistic, complete, evidence-based medical care and applying clinically relevant research to care for her patients. She truly enjoys problem solving and helping others.

“Medicine is complex, people are complex. If the patients concern is straight forward, they may get an answer or solution right away. If not, it may take time, but my philosophy is to gather all relevant information and continuously work towards a solution, improving quality of life for the patients I serve."

Dr. Marks likes the “work hard, play hard" mentality. She is adventurous in her time outside of the office through activities like skydiving, barefoot running, and snowboarding double black diamonds. She is excited about the next chapter of her life in Colorado.

I like Dr Marks. This was the first time I had met her. I would be very comfortable having her as my regular doctor.

Visit was as expected. Explained problem, dr. assessed and provided prescriptions and referral therapy. Both have worked well for me.

This was my first visit with Dr. Marks. I was very impressed with her and will continue to request her as my primary care Doctor.

I was very glad to see someone who takes health seriously, however, I was not happy that a mistake from three years previously was used as leverage to discuss my current health situations.

I was seen promptly, right at my appointment time. However, I feel I was promptly ignored thereafter. I explained the basic situaton to Dr Marks, and was VERY quickly given a prescription and basic explanation. I was trying to convey other concerns and questions, but was literally cut off in the middle of my sentence. I was prescribed antibiotics for a subaceous cyst, which she said might not even help. I was unaware that subaceous cysts even required antibiotics, but in this case I defer to the doctor. Lastly, the doctor managed to forget my name for a moment and actually called me by the name of her next patient instead. The actual visit with the doctor was easily less than 5 minutes, and all of my concerns were not addressed. while I understand the importance of meeting a schedule, I feel it should never outweigh the needs of a patient. I found the behavior in this visit unacceptable. I am currently seeking other providers.

I got the appt immediately. The office staff and nurses were very friendly and caring. Dr. Marks was in a crazy hurry. Wanted yes and no answers and would cut me off, literally interrupt me, to ask her next question. She showed very little interest in ME. Her concern seemed to be blowing through her list and leaving. I left with nothing but a request to return for a blood draw. I went to discuss the carpal tunnel in both of my hands. i need a referral to another hand surgeon to have the nerve tests read and explained so i can either get surgery or cortisine shots. She asked minimal questions about that and didnt examine my hands in any way. I didn't get a referral. I'm in the same spot I was before the visit. No plan. No hand surgeon. No results to give me my next step. I tried to explain I can't work until my hand issues are solved. Tried. Aside from the check in sheet she probably has no recollection of my existence. I was told she was accepting new patients and got an appt for the next morning. I conclude she's only accepting new patients because she's unable to keep any due to her poor bedside manor. For the record I arrived at 9am for a 910am appt. The office was quiet and had 2 other people in the waiting room. No craziness. No jam packed waiting room with late patients. Why Dr. Marks was in such a hurry is a mystery to me.

This was my first visit with Dr. Marks. My previous primary care internist has recently moved out of state. This visit exceeded my expectations. Dr. Marks was thorough, knowledgeable, concise, and pleasant.

Very good.

Mr. Marks was professional and effective in answering all questions, doing research by looking at our past medical history prior to speaking with us which was very helpful and she was kind. I am very thankful for her.
