Seth Kareus, MD, is originally from Phoenix, Arizona. He earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in chemistry followed by his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. He then completed his neurology residency at the University of Utah. Subsequently he completed a two year Movement Disorders Fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University.

As a movement disorders specialist, Dr. Kareus is dedicated to taking care of Parkinson’s disease and related movement disorders. He is passionate about deep brain stimulator surgery and advanced treatment of movement disorders.

When he is not at work, Dr. Kareus enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter as well as hiking, mountain biking and whitewater rafting.

He's the ONLY neurologist I would recommend! He stays current in his field, and shows that he cares.

the provider spent about 5 minutes with me so there was no time for me to ask much less get answers to questions. i felt the provider was cold, unpersonable, disinterested & was in a hurry to leave the room. i felt he made observations with no foundations & nothing was explained to me. i felt dismissed & unimportant & now question the providers ability to treat me as an individual & important patient. i feel like im being run through a mill. i hope im wrong about the provider & that i will be treated as an important individual. that i feel listened to. that things will not be presumed. that things will be explained & questions answered. perhaps a conversation
