Rebecca was born and raised in San Francisco. She earned a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. She earned a master’s degree in public health from the University of Arizona in Phoenix, Arizona, followed by a master’s of physician assistant studies from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. Before joining SCL Health, Rebecca worked as a physician assistant at a spine and sports clinic in Campbell, California. She considers her job as a provider to help patients understand their condition through education and communication.
“I encourage my patients to take control of their health, and help empower them by providing the tools they need to succeed. I want to be a guiding force in my patients’ healthcare decisions.”
Rebecca looks forward to joining a surgical team because of the successful results that patients can achieve through foot and ankle surgery. She also enjoys working with children, influencing their future health and educating their families.
When she is not at work, Rebecca enjoys snowboarding, hiking, swimming, camping and reading.
