Scott Barry has been practicing as a PA for 25 years, with 18 years in neurosurgery. Scott earned his PA degree at Medex Northwest University of Washington, then received his master’s of science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2012 from the Arizona School of Health Sciences.
Prior to entering the PA profession, he was an EMT - Paramedic, practicing in Montana. Scott earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Montana in Sports Medicine. After graduating, he received his degree as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and was on the Flight Team as an RRT for three years before entering PA school.
As a PA with the Center for Brain and Spine, he works closely with the neurosurgeons assisting in taking complete medical histories and neurosurgical exams and first assisting in the operating room for a range of neurosurgical procedures, including brain surgery, spine surgery, neuro-trauma and general neurosurgery. He also has practiced in general, orthopedic, ENT and cardiovascular surgical specialties.
