Offered At:

Saint Joseph Hospital

Course Description

This two day intense critical care review course is intended for nurses who are planning to take the AACN-CCRN/E/K certification exam or as a clinical practice review seminar.  The lectures and time allotment are based on the exam blueprints and will cover all body systems, physiology, pathophysiology, assessment strategies and treatment options for medical and surgical critically ill patients.  This course will benefit those who have critical and/or progressive care experience and need/want a clinical update and review of latest best practice and those who have studied and need/want a final review prior to taking the CCRN certification exam.  This seminar is not intended as a basic critical care course and is recommended for nurses with at least one year of critical or progressive care experience.

  3. Review the pathophysiology for single and multi-system dysfunction and discuss the pharmacological management for each.
