Birth Basics Weekend

  • This is a two day course to allow more time to become familiar with the information about labor and the process of birth. This class is for you and your partner and labor support individuals to acquaint you all with the labor and birth process. Relaxation, breathing patterns, comfort positions and techniques for natural labor and birth are practiced. This information is useful even if a medicated birth is planned. Please have pillows available for practice time in class(either vitual or in person). Pain medication options and common procedures such as fetal monitoring, induction of labor and warning signs in pregnancy are all discussed.

The course is from 6-9 PM on Friday and 9 AM-3PM on Saturday.
