Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese art that connects breathing and meditation with movement. Tai Chi can have many health benefits including decreased stress, increased balance and strength, improved overall health, and more. 

Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention is approved by the CDC and proven to reduce fall risk. 

This 1-hour class is appropriate for all ages, but may especially benefit you if you are:

  • over age 65
  • experience balance or strength issues
  • have difficulty focusing and remembering

This class will be held IN-PERSON!

Every Tuesday @ 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. for EIGHT weeks

November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 & December 7, 14, 21

This class will meet in-person on the Lutheran Medical Center campus at the West Pines Gymnasium. Further instructions will be sent at registration and again two days prior to the first class.

You will be asked to complete the screening process at the front entrance of West Pines. Class sizes are limited to allow for social distancing per CDC guidelines. A mask from home is required. All equipment is thoroughly sanitized between classes. Please stay home and reschedule if you are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms.
