SCAD, or spontaneous coronary artery dissection, is as its name implies—an uncommon condition that can strike with little to no warning. The SCAD Support Group at Good Samaritan Medical Center seeks to create a space for survivors/thrivers to feel safe, heard and supported. The group also aims to provide caregivers with a broader understanding of SCAD to facilitate improved support and communication.
