In close partnership with our clinical partners at National Jewish health and Kaiser Permanente Colorado, the Rocky Mountain Heart Institute has developed a comprehensive cardiac electrophysiology program designed to treat all forms of heart rhythm disorders for patients living throughout the Denver Metro Area.Using a combination of start-of-the-art treatment technology with the skills and expertise of an experienced care team, the electrophysiology program specializes in the treatment of atrial fibrillation (Afib), atrial flutter, slow heartbeat (bradycardia), accelerated heartbeat (tachycardia), irregular heart rhythm, and other forms of heart arrhythmia.

Program Candidates and Indications

The electrophysiology program diagnoses, treats and manages patients with:

  • Diagnosed heart rhythm disorders including Afib, atrial flutter, bradycardia, heart block, tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation, syncope, palpitations or premature ventricular contractions
  • Patients with chronically implanted cardiac pacemakers
  • Undiagnosed arrhythmia with symptoms of chest pain, trouble breathing and dizziness
  • Abnormal EKG or heart murmur
