Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

Excellent care often requires excellent teamwork. A patient that came to the ED and was admitted to the hospital responded to a Circle of Care letter from the Lutheran Foundation with a donation and a note of thanks.

Listed were Midtown Inpatient Medicine (MiM) hospitalists John Archard, MD, Ritika Patel, MD, Shibana Shafi, MD, Jason Yu Wang, MD, and US Acute Care Solutions (USACS) Kevin Flynn, MD.

The patient wrote, "Excellent care from the attending doctors!"

Collaboration among caregivers and departments is critical to providing the exceptional care our community expects from Lutheran. MiM and USACS are two contracted medical groups at the hospital that provide services and care that elevate our community hospital to prominence.

Lutheran's Emergency Department is one of the busiest in the region, receiving its Level II Trauma designation in 2021. MiM recently expanded their services into Platte Valley and is now serving every Intermountain Health care site in the Front Range.

Teamwork makes the dream work, and we are incredibly grateful for the invaluable care our MiM and  USACS physicians offer.
