World record holder and runner Helene Neville is coming to Miles City and will be featured in a free public session Sunday, October 4, 1-2pm, in the CCDHS Auditorium.
On September 5, Neville completed a world-record setting run of the perimeter of the United States, including passing through Miles City earlier this summer. At 55 years old and as four-time cancer survivor, nurse, and grandmother, she made her way around the perimeter of the United States from Canada to Mexico, from California to Florida and on to Maine, and then Canada and eastern Maine to Washington state. The run, which spanned five years, three countries, 38 states plus the District of Columbia and 9,620 miles, presented many barriers. Neville has also managed through four bouts with cancer and three brain surgeries.
Neville will share more about her touching personal journey and will leave attendees inspired and with tools to set and achieve goals and remove obstacles on the way to higher performance and life satisfaction. She asks, “What’s holding you back?” And provides answers that include taking personal control of more in your life, setting new levels of expectations, and realizing that our life is a gift – we’re given only once – and we ought to make the most of it. Her powerful presentation will leave participants inspired and changed.
This session is offered as a free community service of Holy Rosary Healthcare and the Holy Rosary Foundation. The content and delivery is ideal for families, church groups, youth groups, clubs, business professionals, athletes and sports teams, coaches, parents, students, and those interested in improving their lives and our community. This is an extraordinary opportunity and could easily become the best hour of each participant’s week.
