What to expect

On your first visit, you will be seen by a physician or certified nurse practitioner who will be primarily responsible for your medical care. This will be your primary care provider (PCP). You will also be assigned to a primary care team – Blue, Green or Red.

Every effort is made to schedule your appointment(s) with your PCP, however you may be seen by another physician or certified nurse practitioner on your team.

When you call the clinic to speak with your physician, the receptionist will take your name and phone number and relay the message. A physician will return your call as soon as possible.

A physician is on call for emergency consultations 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 303-318-2500. If you need after hours care, please check with your physician before going to the emergency room. If hospitalization is required, your physician will be a part of your health care team at Saint Joseph Hospital. In case of life-threatening emergency, call 9-1-1.

Philosophy of care
