Applying for a Residency
Saint Joseph Hospital Graduate Medical Education Residency program uses ONLY the ERAS system (Electronic Residency Application System) for each year's application process and match. This service necessitates electronic applications only. Please contact ERAS for more information on the application process.
The following are the minimum requirements for your application to be accepted for review:
- Personal Statement
- Dean's Letter
- Medical school transcript
- USMLE and/or COMLEX scores
- Three letters of recommendation; one of these must be from a practicing, Board Certified physician.
If you have postgraduate training, a letter of recommendation and/or evaluation from the program director is also required.
Invitations for interviews will be sent out upon receipt of a completed Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) application. Interviews are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
We understand that many applicants are traveling to Denver from great distances and are coordinating interviews with other programs in the area. We will do everything possible to accommodate your needs.
