Light of the City is an annual event held by Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation to celebrate all things merry and bright during the holiday season and to raise funds to support the mission and vision of Saint Joseph Hospital.
In 2022, Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation’s holiday fundraising campaign will focus on our caregiver recognition campaign titled “A Season to Shine”.
True to its nearly 150 year legacy, Saint Joseph Hospital provides a tradition of excellent healthcare that includes compassionate caregivers, stellar clinical expertise, and active clinical partnerships throughout the community.
All proceeds raised from Light of the City will benefit Saint Joseph Hospital and our caregivers.
“A Season to Shine” Caregiver Recognition Campaign is an opportunity for individuals and organizations in our community to support vital projects and programs at Saint Joseph Hospital while also recognizing members of our healthcare teams who are working around the clock to provide compassionate care to our friends, family, and neighbors.
You can make a donation of any amount to honor or recognize a caregiver and send them a note. Donors who make a $100 or more contribution through “A Season to Shine” will receive a holiday-themed sign to place in their yard showing their gratitude and support for Saint Joe’s caregivers.
Thank you to our generous sponsors who continue to support our caregivers at Saint Joseph Hospital through Light of the City this holiday season. Their sponsorship is helping to provide resources to further the mission and vision of Saint Joseph Hospital and we sincerely appreciate their partnership.

The Foundation takes inspiration from the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, the founders and owners of Saint Joseph Hospital. Since 1873 the Sisters have been committed to providing for the health care needs of the greater Denver community through the services of Saint Joseph Hospital.
