Neurological and Stroke Rehabilitation

You don’t think your neurological condition should define your life. Neither do we. Our therapy teams create unique rehabilitation plans to restore your freedom and function.

What is neurological rehabilitation?

Neurological rehabilitation helps those with conditions like Parkinson's, stroke and brain injury. We provide therapy to improve your range of motion, balance, mobility and endurance.

Neurological rehabilitation treatments

Our comprehensive approach means your treatment plan has a 3 sections: a physical, an emotional and a psychological. We start with an evaluation that documents you movement pattern, strength and tone. We assess you flexibility, functional ability and balance.

Together we define your rehabilitation goals.

As you progress and meet your goals, we reassess your treatment plan and make new goals. Together, a team of physicians, specialists and your family, work together for you.

Parkinson's disease (BIG training)

Many of our care sites offer a LVST® BIG Program. This program helps people who have problems with small and slow movements. This condition affects walking, bed mobility and moving on/off furniture.

Our research-based program involves an intense workout between an LSVT BIG Certified therapist and you. These workouts are one-on-one and improve your movement abilities. As you continue with your therapy, you continue to progress, even after therapy ends.

The development of the LVST® BIG Program was to help those with Parkinson's disease. However, it has expanded to include others who have similar movement problems.
