Kidney (Nephrology)

We treat conditions of the kidneys, as well as the surrounding structures and tissues. The kidneys are a major component of the urinary system, also known as the renal system. The kidneys filter waste from the blood in the form of urine.

The branch of medicine that includes kidney care is called nephrology. Doctors who specialize in the kidneys are called nephrologists.

We treat a number of kidney conditions. These include:

  • Damage to the kidneys’ filtering process
  • Kidney cancer
