Mount Saint Vincent is one of the Rocky Mountain region’s premier providers of mental health treatment, foster care services, preschool through eighth grade education, and trauma-informed training — all focused on children and their families. How can you gain experience from our mission?
If you’re a masters of social work and counseling student, apply for one of our two internships in:
• Outpatient Therapy serving children ages 2-18 years
• Day Treatment serving children ages 5-13 years in a therapeutic school setting
You’ll gain experience in these areas of treatment: trauma, mental health, social-emotional and behavioral issues. In addition, you’ll develop skills in individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy and case management.
Do you need extended field learning? We have it covered. Concentration year students will receive additional credits for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
