Living in Butte

Not too many people can call places like Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks their playground, but the community of Butte has that luxury, nestled in the Rocky Mountains and bordered by the Continental Divide to the east. The city itself offers a strong sense of community, with some 34,000 people and a rich history in mining. It’s home to Montana Tech, part of the University of Montana educational system, and several public and private schools for children of all ages.
