The treatment that your pediatrician recommends for your child will depend on a number of factors such as best practices that have worked for other patients, specific aspects of their diagnosis, the results of any tests, your child’s age and your personal preferences.

Screenings and diagnostics

Routine and specialized screenings can help prevent, diagnose and treat certain diseases. Your child’s pediatrician will recommend the screenings that are appropriate at each stage of childhood.

Dr. Jeff Richker is a board certified, practicing pediatrician with an SCL Health Medical Group clinic in Lafayette, Colorado. Dr. Richker has been practicing pediatrics for more than 15 years. He received his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and completed his internship and residency at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Dr. Richker went into pediatric medicine because he feels it is the best chance to affect positive change during the early years. As a father, he finds nothing more satisfying than watching his patients grow up. His ultimate goal is preparing children for the greatest success in life when they become adults.
