Program Overview

Intermountain Health Colorado - Lutheran Medical Center is a 400-bed community hospital located approximately 12 miles west of Denver. The goal of our residency program is to provide residents with the confidence, education, and skills necessary to further the field of pharmacy. Our hospital specializes in cardiac care, orthopedic procedures, neurology care, oncology services, emergency care, and critical care. After completing the residency, the resident will have a well-rounded knowledge level of pharmacy care in various settings. The residents will have the opportunity to precept pharmacy students from multiple pharmacy schools and to obtain a teaching certificate.

Application Process

All candidates must provide all of the following to the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS) system by the application deadline.

  • Letter of intent
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Three letters of recommendation in PhORCAS
  • School of pharmacy transcripts
  • Eligible for Colorado Intern licensure

All application information must be received prior to 10pm MST on January 2nd. All complete applications will be reviewed by the residency program director and the residency advisory team. Candidates that are selected will be called with interview date and time options
