As you read through our 2021 Lutheran Foundation Annual Report, you will learn about how we have funded more than $1.6M for the hospital in areas including: behavioral health, hospice and palliative care, emergency and trauma services, neurosciences, oncology, cardiovascular services and obstetrics. You will also hear from our supporters and why they give back. Lutheran has always cared for Jefferson County and West Denver families, and we always will. Maximizing the moment to seize a once-in-a-generation opportunity, we are now embarking on a new home for the next 100 years. As the population growth in the front range surges, we have the opportunity to build the hospital of the future in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. In July, 2021, the Lutheran Medical Center Foundation Board approved a comprehensive fundraising campaign that will activate and inspire Jefferson County and Colorado to invest in Lutheran’s and the region’s healthcare future. The new Lutheran will be a replacement hospital to serve this growing community and elevate healthcare in the region by equipping doctors, nurses and leaders with pioneering medical technology.
Lutheran will strengthen its future as the heart of healthcare in Jefferson County, just as our founders did in 1904 when they saw a growing need. We will build upon our first one hundred years of providing excellent medical services and Lutheran’s legacy will live on with pride with each new generation!
