A primary care provider is just that – the first person you go to for health questions and concerns. When you choose one of our primary care providers, you form a relationship with someone who knows your history and is here for you, year after year.
Healthcare for your whole family
Many of our primary care clinics treat all ages from babies to seniors. They also care for the specialized health needs of women and men. Having one clinic for your entire family means you’ll see the same trusted faces who know you by name. What’s more, getting your care at one location means more time for your other priorities.

Primary care screenings and diagnostics
A large part of your primary care consists of regular visits to make sure you stay healthy. Through yearly physicals and wellness checks, your primary care doctor will help you stay up-to-date with immunizations and screenings designed to prevent illness.

Primary care services and treatments
In addition to keeping you in good health, your primary care doctor evaluates symptoms when you’re sick, comes up with a diagnosis, prescribes medication and performs certain medical procedures. Your doctor also helps manage mental health issues and chronic conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease).
Types of primary care providers
Your health needs are different than your neighbor’s, so we help you choose from primary care providers with different areas of focus, including:
- Family medicine – Our family medicine doctors manage your and your family’s total health. They can diagnose and treat conditions for all ages from kids to seniors. If you want to take care of all your family’s health needs in one place, find a family medicine practice. At some of our locations, family medicine residents are part of the primary care team. Residents are doctors who work alongside our family medicine faculty to complete three years of training in treating patients.
- Internal medicine – Our internal medicine doctors specialize in adult care and medicine so you get the specialized expertise you need. They help you through each stage of adulthood and the regular exams and screenings recommended along the way.
- Obstetrics/gynecology – Obstetricians are doctors who specialize in caring for pregnant women from conception through delivery. Gynecologists help women maintain the health of their reproductive system. Gynecologists often provide well-woman health checkups and general women’s health services. Our doctors are commonly board-certified in both obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN).
- Pediatrics – Newborns to teens can receive care from family medicine doctors, who provide annual and sports physicals, well-child visits and more specialized care. Some of our clinics employ doctors who specialize in pediatric medicine.
Urgent or walk-in clinics
If it’s not an emergency, but you have an urgent medical issue, our walk-in clinics for same-day care can answer your questions and help you feel better faster.
