Good Samaritan Medical Center

Trauma Prevention and Preparation

Good Samaritan Medical Center promotes a culture of safety and trauma awareness in our local community by partnering with community members, community organizations, and healthcare providers to understand how injuries happen and how to prevent them. As a Trauma Center, we see many injuries from falls, motor vehicle collisions, bicycle or pedestrian collisions, and other causes. Our Injury Prevention Programs provide evidence-based resources and education to the community to help prevent life-changing injuries from occurring.

What is an Injury Prevention Program?

Our injury prevention programs provide resources and education to the community on how to prevent the most frequent types of unintentional injuries.

  • Fall Prevention
  • Motor Vehicle Safety
  • Brain Injury Prevention
