This was a routine yearly visit. Unfortunately, Medicare does not allow for real physicals. She asked detailed questions based on my questionnaire, including about my meds and my sleep. She asked for a basic blood panel and TSH, and prescribed a DEXA scan. She also wrote a prescription for PT because of lower back pain I've been having. I got the blood test results with her note the next day in MyChart. I've been seeing Dr. Sykes for more than 25 years and I connect very well with her.

I wonder if SCL places emphasis on the physician seeing as many patients as possible by emphasizing that the physician spend the minimum of time necessary simply speaking with the patient. Dr. Sykes seems so much more rushed and hurried than when she was in private practice. My wife and I have been patients of doctor Sykes for almost four decades.

Adele has been my PCP for over 30 years. She has always been kind, attentive, and VERY caring. Even when she is totally booked up, she ALWAYS listens to me and takes the time to answer my questions and also make suggestions as to my care. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best, she's about a 12.
