Dr. Suding received his medical degree from University of Colorado School of Medicine and is board certified in general surgery. He completed residency training in general surgery at the University of California at Irvine, and completed an additional year as a research fellow in surgical infections and vascular surgery. Dr. Suding completed fellowship training in minimally-invasive surgery and bariatric surgery at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Oakland, California.
Dr. Suding’s philosophy of care focuses on providing compassionate and thorough attention to his patients who are in need of operative treatment. He believes in individualizing the operative technique to meet the desires and goals of each patient. Dr. Suding has interests in complex ventral hernia and inguinal hernia, many of which can be treated with minimally-invasive techniques. He also performs surgery of the abdomen, colon, breast and anorectum.
